ODOO BEHAVIOUR

Odoo gives you three possible costing methods (Standard Price, FIFO, AVCO). Besides, it proposes tracking policies, by lots or by unique serial number. With a traceability approach, it covers most of the requirements in terms of up and down traceability (report, tracking, ...) but not in terms of product life management.

CLUEDOO BEHAVIOUR

Cluedoo extends the notion of serial number from an inventory concept to a master data concept at a sub-level of the product variant. You can track the life of each lot/serial number from the beginning to the end of the corresponding product. This extension from inventory information to master data object implies integration of the lot/serial number in several Odoo apps.

Cluedoo also adds up a new costing method which is "Lot/Serial Number".
