Hourly Costs Decomposition
Introduce several hourly costs in order to 1/ give the details of the total hourly costs in order to have the full definition of what is included into or 2/ give the possibility to compute prices on different scenarios (2 shift - 3 shift - ...).
STORY BEHIND THE FEATURES
ODOO BEHAVIOR
For each workcenter, Odoo proposed a fixed number for the hourly cost.
CLUEDOO BEHAVIOR
In addition of this fixed number, Cluedoo add a list of hourly costs in order to have more flexibility to use or to define the total hourly cost.
MODULE+
Based on our experience, as integrator but also as CFO, the hourly cost is one of the most instable definition which exists. Two people will almost always have two definition about what is included or not into the hourly cost.
By given the decomposition of the hourly cost, it avoids any misunderstanding about the assumption behind: Operator - Electricity - Machine (remaining amount or Original value?) - Factory costs - Sales support - Admin support.
CLUEDOO RECOMMENDATION
It's a quite technical module we introduced to improve the communication between production department and finance department.
This approach is very powerful to communicate between a production department - which often focus on the production costs only and much less on the indirect costs - and the finance department - which proposes a global approach.

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE?

Go to Configuration → Hourly Cost → Create hourly cost, select hourly cost component, and set the amount (50)
Go to Bill of Materials, select Routing, on Cost Preview tab, click Refresh Cost, and the cost will be displayed. Before we set hourly cost component is 50 and duration is 60 minutes, so the total cost is 50 x 60= 3000
