ODOO BEHAVIOR
Odoo limits the possibility for leads & opportunities management.
1/ Odoo proposes to close a lead or to convert in opportunity with option to create a new customer or not. But Odoo does not proposes to mark a lead as lost AND create a new customer.
2/ In Odoo Standard, the opportunity is an open object without any easy way to pre-defined the sales speech of your sales team.

1/ Cluedoo add the option Mark Lost & Create contact on lead.
2/ When you contact a prospect, you need to ask a list of questions to better understand customer needs and so qualify opportunities.

On CRM → Pipeline. When you click Mark As Lost on opportunity, you have the option to create contact, link or do not link it to a customer

On CRM question form view, we can set also the answer.
