Currency Monthly Rate
Record Monthly rate in addition of the daily rate for currencies in order to use monthly rate or daily rate in Odoo according to the object/topic
STORY BEHIND THE FEATURES
ODOO BEHAVIOR
Odoo proposes automatic currency update with a frequency then use this policy for all the objects in Odoo.
CLUEDOO BEHAVIOR
Cluedoo considers that exchange rate management can be different on each apps, especially on the update frequency.
For accounting, we strongly recommend daily update in order to limit unexplained exchange rate gain or loss.
For sales and purchase, daily frequency is too important and it's better to fix on a monthly or yearly basis the pricelist

Do not force departments to agree on one currency update frequency and give the option between different frequency and different update methodology (daily and automatic, monthly and manual).
CLUEDOO RECOMMENDATION
Quite technical module. Used mainly to give more flexibility on customer and supplier pricelist.

Add Currency Monthly Rates in Currencies
HOW TO USE THIS MODULE ?
1.
On User Setting, check the 'Monthly Currency Rates' and 'Multi Currencies'. Then Set Multi Currencies.
2.
Go to Accounting → Currencies. In List View, it will show the monthly currency rate.
3.
Go to the Currency (in this case USD), there is Monthly Rates.
4.
Create new Monthly Rates. It will show the year, month and rate in that year and month.
