Product Data Library for Company Expenses
This library includes a list of product categories and product templates splitted between Business Categories and Company Categories to give you a departure point in your master data organization.
STORY BEHIND THE FEATURES
Cluedoo considers that it's easier to start with a model and so propose a library for your internal products, that you will use for company expenses (mission expenses, purchase for internal needs) which are generic.
This library is splitted in 2 product categories, each category getting a list of products:
- Business categories: for products linked to your activity, ie turnover and direct costs. Only the top category is given because organisation of these products strongly depends on your company.
- Company categories: for products linked to company expenses, we propose a library which should cover 80% of your needs in terms of department costs, overhead costs, mission expenses ...
Cluedoo proposed this library because, in several projects starting from scratch, it takes only 1h to review the logic and activate/inactivate when it will take 30h to create from scratch. A tip to save a lot of hours and optimize a quick start.
To be installed on companies with more than 20 users, and without master data for company expenses.
Best practice: Installation should be recommended by a functional consultant after analysis of your needs and objectives.

Expense Products Library
On Expenses → Configuration → Expense Products → Products, we can find the list of the products can be used for expenses
Product Variant Library
We can also find the library of the product variants on Sales / Purchase / Inventory → Product Variants
Product Category Library
Cluedoo also provide the library of product categories, we can find it on Inventory / Accounting → Configuration → Product Categories
