In Odoo, only service-type products could be linked to projects and tasks. When a service product is sold, Odoo automatically creates a new project or links the sale to an existing project. Tasks related to the service were then generated within the project, allowing for time-tracking and management. However, this functionality was limited to services, meaning it couldn't be applied to goods or combo products.

CLUEDOO BEHAVIOR

Cluedoo introduced a new feature that expands the link between products and projects to include goods-type and combo-type products. Now, businesses can associate tangible goods and grouped product bundles (e.g., multiple variations of t-shirts) with projects and tasks, allowing more comprehensive tracking of resources and progress.
