In Odoo, vendor pricelists are not sorted systematically when multiple suppliers are listed for the same product. The system does not prioritize suppliers based on validity dates or pricing, which can lead to inefficiencies when selecting the most appropriate vendor.

Cluedoo enhances vendor pricelist management by introducing an intelligent sorting mechanism based on validity dates and pricing, ensuring that the best supplier options appear at the top. The sorting logic follows these refined rules:
① Priority on Validity Dates – Suppliers with a valid Start Date and End Date are prioritized first, regardless of their pricing. This ensures that suppliers with active, up-to-date agreements appear before those without set validity periods.
② Optimized Price Sorting – When multiple suppliers have valid Start Date and End Date, they are further sorted by price in ascending order, ensuring that the most cost-effective option appears first.

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE
Go to Products > New to create a new product or choose an existing one > Under Purchase tab, fill in the vendor pricelist If there are valid Start Date and End Date, even when the Price is higher > The supplier with the valid dates should be placed first |
