STORY BEHIND THE FEATURE

ODOO'S FUNCTIONS

Odoo allows you to create event forms with static questions but does not support conditional questions or triggering answers based on previous responses. Additionally, questions are displayed in a default multi-column layout without customization options.

CLUEDOO'S FUNCTIONS

Cluedoo enhances event forms with the "Triggering Answers on Event Questions" module by:

  • Allowing conditional questions that appear based on triggering answers.
  • Displaying questions in a customizable single-column format for better clarity and organization.

CLUEDOO RECOMMENDATIONS

Install in 100% of your database as it is a useful tool to manage projects.

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE

1. Create Questions

Go to Event > Questions > Create and add all the questions you need.

2. Set Conditional Display
This allows a question to appear only if the participant selects a specific answer to a previous question.

Example:

  • Question 1: Do you want to participate?
    • Option 1: Yes
    • Option 2: No

3. Go to the 2nd question > Option > Set Triggering Answers.

  • A Triggering Answer field will appear.
  • Select which answer (from Question 1) will trigger this question.
  • For example: "Please share on social media" will appear if the answer to Question 1 is Yes.

4. Go to the 3rd question > Option > Set Triggering Answers.

  • Similarly, link it to a different answer.
  • For example: "You really don’t want to join?" will appear if the answer to Question 1 is No.

4. Reference the Original Question:

Use the Search more option to refer back to the original question, if needed.
