STORY BEHIND THE FEATURES
ODOO'S FUNCTIONS
In Odoo's current setup, effectively managing product categories presents several challenges, including the inability to archive old categories, the lack of support for multilingual categories, and the absence of a display name field.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTIONS
To enhance usability, Cluedoo proposes three key improvements to the Product Category module:
- Archive Feature: Enable archiving of old categories to maintain an organized structure.
- Translatable Description: Support translation of category descriptions for multilingual users.
- Display Name Field: Introduce a display name combining the category code with the full name for clarity.
